One of the new generation Armata tanks stalled during rehearsal of the Victory Day parade on the Red Square. The tank was standing motionless in front of Lenin’s Mausoleum till the end of the event. According to the organizers, this was planned to test “the towing procedure”. A tow vehicle was moved into the position to remove the tank, however, after a while the tank managed to leave the Red square on its own.
Reportedly, the tank has no match among Western analogues. Many Russian military experts believe that Armata tanks are too expensive for Russia’s budget.
Internet users reacted with humorous twits, selfies and posts.
