The Great Siberian Ski Traverse follows Callum Pettit, Ingrid Backstrom and Nick Martini on a 6,000-mile journey through Russia, along the Trans-Siberian Railway.
The documentary is a blend of fun adventure and great ski footage. The movie is a great watch for lazy days. Narrator’s heavy Russian accent adds a little flavor, and carelessly eases us into a harsh scenery to explore remote part of Russia where locals use handmade wooden skis for hunting and fun.
And of course, there is vodka, cigarettes and a full immersion in one of the oldest cultures in the world.
And skiing.
And more vodka.
And more skiing.
