Inspired by Russian endless winter and urban grey life, Skyscanner created an ad. Even though it’s technically a spring, in Russia its far from blooming trees and green grass. It still looks and feels like winter. Actually, the ad may resonate with folks from other northern countries as well. Enjoy the ad.

Weird Russia used to be funny. It used to have an affectionate way of showing the quirks of Russian life. Every country has its quirks, by the way! At a certain point, however, it seemed this website had been taken over by people who hate Russia. It feels like this website is being used as p.c. propaganda to convince us Russia is in all respects a very sad country. It is NOT a question of WHAT videos you show–the seamier, dirtier, run-down side of Russia is also Russia, and we (I) want to see it!–it is just a question of emphasis, or maybe of tone. Think about it, please.
yes, we don’t like p.c. propaganda that touches various aspects of everyday life in Russia, please more Putinesque propaganda about how Russia is the greatest country in the world! Ura tovarischi!
