Samara artist staged a performance at the table, with a carpet as a backdrop. Nothing unusual, except the scene was on the outside the five-story building.
The artist reenacted the typical Russian dinner, on the space of 1 square meter. Arseny took part in the “1 m²” project. The artist devoted his work to the pursuit of living space.
“How much is 1m2 in this area? Many measure their lives by square meters. We save money for square meter, equip it and in the end, it limits people in space” the artist explains.
According to photographer Vlad Vinogradov, the work is devoted to the pursuit of living space in modern society, which buys housing “in shoe box, burdening itself with a mortgage for half a life.”
