The Yaroslavl authorities ordered a set of 12 tactile 3D portraits for a school in the village of Voschazhnikovo (Borisoglebsk District, Yaroslavl Region). The set includes portraits of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Soviet leader Stalin and former American president Donald Trump.
The portraits are intended for blind students and for those who have a poor vision.
“A blind person hears what the president, the leader of a large country, says. However, how one looks like, can be understood only by feeling the portrait with your hands. This kind of portrait gives a wonderful experience of feeling who your president is and to feel the historical figures,” said the head of the press service of the All-Russian Society of the Blind Yevgeny Kalashnikov.
